I was honestly so happy to see Spain win the 2026 World Cup. Come on, Argentina already had their moment when Lionel Messi finally lifted the trophy in Doha, Qatar, in 2022. A lot of people expected them to win it again this year, but Spain had other plans, beating Argentina 1-0 in the final and bringing the trophy home.
And of course, one of the players everyone was watching was Lamine Yamal. The 19-year-old had already enjoyed an incredible season with FC Barcelona, helping the club win the 2025/26 La Liga title, before adding a World Cup trophy with Spain. Not bad for someone who is still a teenager.
