Citizen Tsuyosa Shore Midnight Sky
A quiet night sky, painted one star at a time.
There is a moment that stops most of us — when the sky turns from dusk to deep blue and the first stars start to appear. Nothing is happening, but something has shifted. The Midnight Sky Concept captures that moment on the wrist. Our artists render the night sky through abstract pointillism — a technique built dot by dot, where each tiny point of paint becomes a star, and together they form a composition of depth and tranquility.
The deep blue dial is the sky itself — quiet, vast, and patient. Just the sky as it actually looks on a clear night. Held close, every dot is visible and the technique reveals itself. Across a room, the dial reads as a single tranquil expanse. The Tsuyosa Shore frames the composition with a clean 40 mm integrated-bracelet silhouette — a simple canvas that lets the artwork stay in focus.

A fire-breathing icon dominates the upper dial, mid-flight with flames trailing behind it. Our artists hand-paint every detail onto a custom black canvas set against a cosmic night-sky backdrop of starlight and deep blue. The artwork carries the kind of quiet nostalgia that stays with you long past childhood.
At the small-seconds position, a blazing orb burns where the traditional register would sit — a focal point that doubles as part of the composition. Under UV light, subtle accents reveal themselves across the dial, and orange lume on the hands keeps the piece alive after dusk. The 40.5 mm Citizen Zenshin case is built on Citizen’s Super Titanium™ platform, with an integrated titanium bracelet that stays visually quiet against the warmth of the artwork.
