Every watch starts somewhere — a scene, a symbol, a language. These three started in very different places and ended up on the wrist.
Citizen Tsuyosa Dive in Time

A vault full of gold, and someone who couldn’t resist jumping in.
Someone left the vault open. A distinguished character took his chance — headfirst into a pile of golden coins, gold bars, and scattered gems, painted against a clear blue sky. Our artists hand-painted the scene onto the dial of a rose gold Citizen Tsuyosa, where the case and bracelet pick up exactly where the treasure on the dial leaves off. You can’t tell where the art ends and the watch begins.
The dial is packed with detail — gold bars stacked between scattered coins and banknotes, mid-scatter from the impact of the dive, and a steel vault standing guard near the date window at 3 o’clock. The light blue sky above gives the scene breathing room, while the lower half of the dial is pure treasure. The rose gold-plated case and president-style bracelet weren’t chosen for looks alone — they extend the gold from the painted dial onto the wrist, making the entire watch part of the artwork.
Built on the Citizen Tsuyosa Automatic platform, the 40mm case keeps the proportions wearable while the exhibition caseback on the reverse reveals the mechanical movement inside. A watch that’s as fun to explain as it is to wear.

The Red Devils Concept

A football crest, engulfed in flames — painted for the fans who burn just as bright.
The crest sits at the center of the dial, surrounded by red and golden flames with a devil rising through the fire. Our artists hand-painted every detail, blending the club’s original green heritage colors with the fierce reds and golds that define it today. The result is a dial that carries the same intensity as a packed stadium on matchday.
Look closer and the layers start to show — the green isn’t random, it’s pulled directly from the club’s founding-era badge. The golden flames overlap with the reds in a way that gives the artwork depth and movement, as if the crest is burning in real time. The devil figure emerges through the fire at the top, tying the whole composition together. Every inch of the dial is covered — there’s no empty space, no filler, just the kind of visual density that rewards a closer look.
The 42.5mm case houses a GMT automatic — a second timezone on the bezel for those whose loyalty doesn’t stop at borders. Hardlex crystal and 100 metres of water resistance keep it match-ready, rain or shine.

Citizen Tsuyosa Kanji

Twelve hours, told in a language the watch already speaks.
The name said Japan. The movement said Japan. The dial didn’t — until now. Twelve Kanji numerals in calligraphy style sit where standard indices used to, black ink on brushed steel with small symbols marking the space between the hours. The Citizen Tsuyosa Kanji doesn’t borrow from Japanese heritage. It wears it.
The calligraphy carries weight — each numeral drawn in the Sumi ink tradition, where the thickness of every stroke is intentional. Against the silver sunburst dial, the black characters stand out without competing with the hands or the minute track. The result is a dial that feels handcrafted without being busy, where the negative space does as much work as the ink.
“Tsuyosa” translates to “strength” in Japanese. It’s the name Citizen gave this platform — a 40mm automatic with a president-style bracelet and the kind of case finishing that punches above its price point. The Kanji edition takes that foundation and gives it an identity that matches.
